Closer...

32 days to go...I can hardly believe it!
Last Saturday I had an amazing bridal shower. My aunt threw it for me and there were probably 30 women there. It was truly a blessing! Stephen and I got some great gifts from people to help us start our lives together. We are having a bride/groom shower in couple weeks that I am really looking foward to. We'll see if Stephen feels the same way :)

On the planning end, things are coming right along. We will give the caterer a final RSVP count this week, which scary because I know we are past 200 people. I also know that not everyone RSVP's so we are going to have to add some to that number. Note to self: from now on I will always RSVP!

Between this week and next I am meeting with the church coordinator, music director and Pastor Bob. About 4 1/2 weeks to go and I don't doubt that all of them won't be full!

It's getting close...

46 days and counting!
I can't believe the big day is so close! NO regrets on moving up the date. But there has been a lot going on. It was kinda crazy trying to focus on the wedding, Christmas and working, but we got through it and now all focus is on wedding day. =)

Invitations were by far the worst part of wedding planning. We are so worried we are going to forget some important people. But they are out and response cards are coming in fast. It's very  exciting.

Currently I am spending all my days off work tying up loose ends. Caterer, cake, hotel reservations, dress alterations, and the beginnings of reception decorating! Not to mention keeping after 8 men to make sure they all get fitted for their tuxes by February. My girls all have (and have had for a while) their dresses, thanks girls! =)

While Stephen was on break from school we picked out the tuxes and we also bought our wedding bands, Merry Christmas to us!
My mom, grandmother and aunt are all in shower planning mode, I'm so excited!

While every step seems to make this whole getting married thing feel so real, nothing so far compares to the latest. On New Year's Eve Stephen and I bought a new car together! It's my new 2009 Honda Civic. I love it! Our first "married couple" big purchase.

So everything is going well, I'm just hoping I stay this relaxed up until the big day...please!
